About the Role

Innovare - Social Innovation Partners, Inc. is looking for a Content Marketing Manager to create engaging copy that influences behavior and connects with prospects and current clients through a strong understanding of B2B buyer journeys and personas. In addition, you will enhance the Company’s visibility and thread in the education ecospace by creatively and impactfully telling our clients stories. In doing so, you will exhibit how we impact the education leaders we partner with and how Inno™ benefits all users in a variety of ways.
The Content Marketing Manager will deliver high quality writing pieces that will share Innovare’s story of impact, attract new clients, appeal to existing and new audiences in a variety of markets, and transcend across all targeted segments.

Responsibilities

  • Creating user-friendly, high-quality content aligned to established guidelines and content schedules that engages audiences and gives them an informative experience demonstrating our unique culture and product when browsing through our media channels with specific impacts on education culture, infusion of best practices, and support for strategic planning
  • Write short and long form demand generation content such as blogs, emails, digital advertisements, social cards and posts, landing pages, scripts and FAQs designed to drive target audiences toward gated content (webinars, podcasts, white papers, etc) and conversion into MQLs
  • Maintaining a balance between the content’s creative authenticity and the technicalities such as SEO optimization to ensure high search engine rankings
  • Ensure copy tells a story and takes the reader on a connected journey--for example, from email through to landing page, content download, thank you, and follow up
  • Ensure that all outbound campaign communications are error free, clean, approved and ready for external consumption
  • Conducting research, stakeholder interviews, leveraging data, prioritizing tasks, and engaging in a collaborative approach to provide content recommendations while navigating conflicting opinions
  • Collaborating with other teams to determine topics and market areas to generate creative content while also making recommendations on these considering stakeholders, trends, and best practices
  • Communicating the Company’s brand voice, message, and impact consistently in a clear, detailed, and engaging way that proactively answers a potential client or strategic partner’s questions and needs
  • Provide editorial advice and counsel to help target content to audience needs and ensure content achieves campaign goals
  • Recommending publishing opportunities to consider and uses appropriate perspective and voice for each
  • Leveraging independent learning to stay informed on best practices in content writing including copywriting, content marketing, PR, user trends, etc.

Minimum
Qualifications

3-5 years in a B2B marketing role with proven examples of generating best-in-class content and communication strategies that fuel customer acquisition
4+ years writing
experience
6+ years of experience in K-12 education, public service, or social impact sector related marketing
Understanding of EdTech or cloud/SaaS technology concepts is critical
Master’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or other Liberal Arts degrees
Ability to understand and write from a variety of stakeholder perspectives across markets and segments where experience includes project managing full development and execution of campaigns
Excellent communication
and writing skills
Skillful questioning and interviewing skills
Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail and use of data to drive decision making
Proficiency in Google Suite applications
Demonstrated flexibility in handling multiple projects, changing priorities, and deadlines while maintaining high standards for quality and detail

Preferred
Qualifications

  • 2+ years in the technology or startup space
  • 4+ years of writing experience specifically for entrepreneurs, founders and key stakeholders in fast growth businesses
  • Working knowledge of Designer tools (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva)
  • Working knowledge of marketing automation tools (Hubspot, Clearbit, SEM rush, Marketo, etc.)
  • Experience copywriting for B2B software companies
  • Experience in media and public relations
