Growth Strategist
Reports to: Director of Sales
Location: Illinois & California
Compensation Package: $50,000 (base salary + benefits; not inclusive of commissions)

About the Role
The Growth Strategist will play a critical role in the company reaching its growth goals. They will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with education, nonprofit, and foundation leaders while also collaborating with internal executives to develop strategies to increase revenue for the company. Their day-to-day tasks include identifying opportunities for new partnerships; strengthening existing relationships and collaborations with impact allies and funders; negotiating and enforcing legally-binding contracts; conducting market research;

Responsibilities
- Create a systematic and replicable approach to outreach and relationship management
- Identify and source opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound communication channels
- Collaborate internally with teammates to align our internal goals with new and existing partner relationships
- Negotiate and finalize partnerships in accordance with company’s contract guidelines and policies
- Define clear partnership and sales goals and actively pursue completing goals
- Deliver a “white glove” experience to our partners
- Represent the brand at events and conferences
- Forecast, measure, and report the results of all projects with partners
- Champion and manage new projects and initiatives, such as the Innoverse™, to create stronger partnerships and product distribution relationships
- Build up the Innovare’s brand equity through active engagement with industry influencers in local, national and international markets
- Liaise with partners to solve challenges, communicate needs and foster sustainable synergy
- Contribute ideas into the Growth Strategy and Product Roadmap by researching best practices and learning new concepts and tools
Minimum
Qualifications
3-5 years of proven experience in comparable roles including sales, business development, and/or education, nonprofit, & philanthropic leadership
Established personal brand with network of relationships with key stakeholders in the education, nonprofit, or philanthropic sectors
Proven experience working at EdTech, SaaS, and B2B startups and companies
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
Results-driven, politically savvy strategic mind with an eye for creativity


Preferred
Qualifications
- Experience developing partnership-based growth strategies
- Experience working in Latin America or other regions abroad
- Proficiency in Spanish and/or other languages
- Social impact work experience
