About the Role
The Growth Strategist will play a critical role in the company reaching its strategic goals. They will be responsible for designing, testing, implementing, and executing growth projects and initiatives across Marketing, Engineering and Customer Success teams and aligned to customer and user acquisition, activation, retention, and upsell. Their day-to-day tasks include working with the Growth Officer to define the growth project roadmap, leading collaboration sessions with Marketing, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to influence team members to support the growth initiatives, analyzing marketing, sales, product, and customer data to drive growth initiatives, researching best practices and tools that the growth team can implement, and meeting with customers to obtain qualitative insights to inform new initiatives.

  • Manage controlled testing of initiatives across customer acquisition, activation, retention, and upsell
  • Design and implement digital marketing campaigns and initiatives, including but not limited to SEM/SEO, social media, website design and optimization, A/B testing, and content
  • Know our customer by tracking customer event and information throughout the customer journey to understand user behavior and optimize marketing, product, and customer success functions
  • Build data visualizations and analyze customer behavior data and present insights to the C-level and cross-functional teams to influence strategies and initiatives
  • Manage changes to processes, roles and responsibilities, and technology required to implement growth initiatives, including supporting team members with their activities
  • Execute and oversee necessary tactical activities (i.e. develop content, email drip campaigns, landing pages, forms, webinars) to ensure the growth initiatives are successful
  • Track the return on investment of deployed campaigns and initiatives and their effects on company and team performance indicators
  • Manage team of agency partners and contractors and carry out crucial growth initiative tasks
  • Contribute ideas into the Growth Roadmap by researching best practices and learning new concepts and tools
Minimum Qualifications
3-5 years of proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns across Owned Media, Paid Media, and Earned Media acquisition channels
Expert-level knowledge with marketing automation, marketing analytics, social media and search ads, and CRM tools
Excellent written and verbal communication and
problem-solving skills
Strong project management, multitasking, and
decision-making skills
Results-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, engineering or related field
  • Master’s degree
  • Proven experience working at EdTech, SaaS, B2B, and Social Networking startups and companies
  • Experience coding, connecting apps through APIs, and using a Customer Data Platform
  • Advanced data analytics and visualization experience using tools like SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, and Tableau
  • Experience implementing a digital marketing strategy with proven results
  • Willingness and ability to travel
